The Roasting Foundation course introduces learners to the art and science of coffee roasting. Participants explore the stages of the roast process, basic thermodynamics, and the impact of heat application on flavor development. Through practical exercises, learners conduct and log multiple roast profiles, gaining awareness of machine structure, maintenance, and fire prevention.
